Checking out at Walgreens and saw the entire shelf of home drug test kits. A great comment on today's society.

Well - half of these are DNA tests for checking ancestry, genetic risk factors, etc. But I wonder if the major purchasers of home urine drug-testing kits are from drug-users who wonder if they are clean enough to pass that test at work...

The urine test can be past easily, sometimes called the little blue bill, body cleanse.....

As a former Mechanical Contractor our crew was subject to random drug testing as part of their Union's requirements to comply with the many work rules. The "home drug tests kits" are very fundamental compared to those used by the testing labs. A casual user may think that they will test clean only to find out that they came back not so clean after all. We would have to pull them off the job and they would be subject to a re-test later hopefully to come back clean. If not they had to follow a plan set for them by their Union before they could return.
