What has happened in our schools? A second grader (yea, second grader) bit a kindergartner on the arm twice leaving marks that lasted till the next day. This is a kid that has caused multiple issues. The teachers have had to have a meeting regarding this kid alone.

Do parents seriously not see what their little prince and princesses are doing? Do they have no shame? Do they not care?

I encourage everyone to take the time to confront bullying when they see it. This may seem small but it will get worse when he grows up.

Sorry, venting. Guess who the kindergartner's grandmother is?

So sorry tk...usually the kids that do this kind of thing have uninterested parents...but let something happen to their kid and they throw a fit! If the parents were held responsable they would straighten junior up in a hurry!!

nothing i hate more than bullies. i was bullied all through grade school up through the 8th grade (by the same bully). the schools and teachers knew. my mother made many trips to the school...and teachers witnessed many times on the playground.

i went back in the 9th grade, bought a louisville slugger and beat that bully within an inch of his life. he still to this day urinates in a bag that he has strapped to his waist. he spent 53 days in the hospital. i got into a little trouble, but i was a minor.

that's what you do to bullies...

no pyschology babble or time-outs or shaking your finger works.

only thing works on a bully is to give them a triple dose of what they are passing out.

that was about 47 years ago....and it's no difference now.

Kind of out of the box but yes, bullies do need to be taught what it like.

Is it because they are bullied at home and want to give back ?

Are they neglected and searching for attention ?

Seems like 'no spanking' is working the wrong way.

Thanks everyone. I needed to vent. But I do believe it takes everyone to spread the word that it is unacceptable, from preschool to work place.

Stand up for yourself and others. Teach your kids to help out another that is being bullied. Nothing stops them more than to be out numbered.

My daughter was about 7 years old and being bullied by a 9 year old kid down the block. I watched him run a baby carriage into my daughter's back while she was waiting for the school bus.

Stormed over to talk to the mother and that was less than useless. Talked to the kid, but he asked me what I planned on doing and if I raised a hand, his mother would call the cops because he was just a kid.

Thought about it for a moment and came up with my plan. Told him I would find the biggest, baddest kid in his school and pay HIM to whip the shit out of the kid. The kid's eyes went wide and he never bothered the daughter again.

Sometimes parents are just glad to send their kids off to school to get them out of their hair for a day, they are the ones who usually get in trouble.

I agree with you Sarge. Kids should be spanked and hit with a nice belt once in a while to teach them a lesson so they stop.

Worked for me. It gave me a healthy respect. Never any abuse at my house.

My nephew was bullied over and over at school.
Trouble is, he was bullied because he was (is) a big blonde, fair skinned kid in a school filled with gang members. (like most of the schools in Vegas)
First time it happened, he broke the kids jaw. (my sister says he's got his uncle's temper....yep..me.)
Next time, the same gang banger had a couple of friends....whooped them, too....went on & on...all the way up to six kids.
He was a Straight A student with aspirations of playing football in college.
Well...in Vegas, if you are in a fight...no matter WHO starts it... you're suspended. So guess what? So many suspensions and he's out of school.
Because of the other little punks, my nephew is out of school. Was he supposed to just sit back and take it until HE got hurt??
Or, until someone brought a knife or gun to school?
I still get mad about the whole deal.
Good news, though...he took his aggressions into the ring and now is training at Vanderlie Silva's gym and is winning his MMA fights.
Too bad the little punk bullies aren't in the octagon with him.

When I was in grade school I got in so many fights defending a kid who was mixed, black-white. My grandpa knew his parents very well and they had an older son named Freddie Ward who was a professional boxer though he never made it to the big time. The school principle held my destiny in his hands on numerous occasions but he seemed to bend over backwards to keep me from being suspended by the vice principle when hauled in for my weekly "Quit fighting" scoldings and threats of suspension. When I was leaving the school to head to Junior High he came up to me as I was walking off the property heading home on the last day of school and told me that he appreciated all the butt kickings I gave while protecting Johnny. I was shocked. I didn't like Johnny particularly but I hated seeing him getting picked on. I don't know for sure but I think my grandpa had a "friendly discussion" with the vice principle as the story goes. He indicated that if I got suspended and Johnny got beat up while I was gone he would administer the same treatment to the VP! I'll never know for sure. I hope Johnny is doing well. :D

When they took discipline out of the hands of the teachers this is the result. What did they expect?????

my dad use to make me give him my own belt for spankings.if i did something bad while i was out word of it and my dad would be waiting for me at home.there are two reasons people do the right thing,
1-because it is the right thing.
2-because they fear the results of doing the wrong thing.
most people heed #2 more than #1 these days,.
