Been a long term wish to go on an African Safari & finally went for my 70th birthday! Went to Kenya this past July, and stayed in the endless plains of the Masai Mara.
The attached photo’s were taken by me from the Land Cruiser using my Fujifilm X-T2 and their Fujinon Lens XF 100-400mm 1:4.5 - 5.6. All photo’s were hand held while sitting.

Really nice! I hope I make before I'm 70, but I'll take it if that's how it turns out!

Oh, I am again so envious. I got to spend three weeks in Kenya, about 10 years ago, and didn't want to come home. It was simply magic. We were in many areas, the Masai Mara being one of them. We were not there during the migration, so you really are ahead of me there. Between my son and I we came home with over 15,000 digital shots. I am a painter, so I have reference material for a lifetime! Beautiful shots with lots of drama from you! Very cool! JESS

Wonderful photos!! I love the baby elephants!! My favorite is the b&w wildebeests. I can almost hear their thundering hooves and feel the dust their kicking up.

Thanks for sharing!!!

Very well done. Excellent perspectives, good color, sense of motion, and eye appeal. Yours are what great safari photos should look like.

Fantastic Shots!

What was the name of the tour company you went with?
Were you satisfied with the amount of game you saw?
What time of year did you go?
Tom
