Looked at them all, a walk through history of an amazing city, thanks for posting! Can't believe those guys sitting on a beam eating lunch 800 feet up. Look at their feet, wearing just leather, slippery-soled shoes...

A very nice assortment Jerry, and thank you. These bring back a lot of fond memories of my daughter and I. I used to take her to Radio City Music Hall for the Christmas Show. One year we took a horse and buggy ride. Another we ice skated at the Rockefeller Rink. Every year we did something different. We reminisce often. Every time I see that photo of the construction workers sitting on the beam I get a little agita.

That was actually a staged publicity photo. You can research it to find out more about it.

The photograph was staged as a publicity stunt to promote the new RCA building. Nevertheless, it's still terrifying. The original is black and white on a glass negative. I think colorizing it was a bad move.

Great spread!
(I’m sure I’m not the only one to do a double take at 1932 with the guy on the right end holding a liquor bottle.)
