Gorgeous misty sunrise even though color not brilliant. Grandson and I each set up a tent down by water for tonight. This will be challenging for me but I think I’ve got things figured out. Surely hope so. Was only able to view a few pages. WOW is all I can say. These are iPhone edited in Snapseed app

you are in a beautiful place...
thank you...

I was totally alone in 1946, standing on an ice-covered alpine lake so I could capture this view. I don't know how thick the ice was, but the air was frigid. The static electric discharge in the image apparently was produced when I advanced the film -- or maybe when the Compur shutter blades opened and closed for this one exposure. But I suddenly heard sounds and looked down to see thin spidery lines fanning out in the ice under my combat books. I was quite a few yards out from the shoreline, but I managed to carefully get back to the shore. I apologize for the 73-year-old negative's quality, but the scene was such a prime example of stunning solitude that I decided to share it with you. The site was Konigsee; today there are lake cruises there for tourists.

I'm sorry haven't had much time to comment on everyone's solitude wen popping in onbreaks at work now that the internet is working on my phone and grand went home today...needed to spend some time with my camera and studies ....everyone's ideas of solitude have been great, enjoy the camp out with your grand, weather didn't allow it for mine but he didn't seem to mind...once again I would like to thank everyone for making me feel as if I'm part of the family😍💗

This one is a bit special. I submitted it to the County Calendar contest held every two years. It ismy son's village during the Christmas Holidays and entitled.....liberally translated to English ''The Time of Peace''. There will be an annual county show in October and the citizens will vote. Have entered this contest four times and have been chosen four times.....probably because they are not photographers LOL
