Welcome, Norma. Are you sure we can't talk you into upgrading your photo gear? Welcome to UHH either way.

Hi Norma, but not sure you will get much assistance here for your IPhone Camera, most of comments here concerning DSLR cameras, Lens, etc. And also the new Mirrorless Cameras. Not to much talk about Smartphone cameras. But I have a smartphone and it does take very nice "Snapshots", but my Nikon D3300 creates very nice images. My wife has an IPhone, she just uses her images for mostly Instagram posting and some Texting too.
I do hope you will find those here at UHH that can be of assistance and encouragement to you with the use of your iPhone, I am sure it takes very nice photos.
Welcome to the forum, Norma.
Welcome Norma. It seems apparent that the masses here on the βHogβ are still not quite open to phones with cameras. But, there may be a reason for starting the name with βUglyβ ... LOL ... I have a new Sony Mirrorless and love it. AND I carry iPhones as well. Without them I would have missed several good images. It is another tool for us to use, so donβt become discouraged. I also suggest to look into the App Store under Photography, there you will find several apps to encourage your creative side, and later eventually take ownership of a newer DSLR or mirrorless system. Get creative, enjoy, and learn to develop your new passion. Iβll try to add a shot or two of mine for you to see. Share yours too.
Hi,Norma..... Welcome to the Hog

Norma, as they say, the best camera is the one you have with you. Just bear in mind that
there is a great deal of satisfaction to be derived from setting up a camera manually and getting an image that is exactly what you saw in your minds eye...just saying. I'm not trying to influence you, but you get truly bitten by the bug down the road. Meanwhile happy snapping.
Welcome, Norma. I agree with Bfree2. If you want to use your cell phone, look up some photography apps. There are plenty that are fun to use and can help with exposure. Learn composition skills which you can do with any camera. You can take some great pictures with cell phones if that's what you want to do. Of course, you can get more creative with other cameras, but an iPhone is a fine place to start. And has the advantage of always being with you. Have fun! And post some of your pictures and questions.
Welcome Norma and good luck to you. And yes your phone can take lovely images also.

Norma, welcome to the forum. My view is your IPHONE is a camera and it is the person behind it that counts. Post images and ask questions. The best way to learn.
