I really miss fresh peaches, peach ice cream, peach cobbler and peach preserves. The peach growers around Fredericksburg, Texas might disagree with you about who has the best peaches.

I lived in texas the first 18 years of my life...so I know about texas peaches...they are good too.

I was stationed at Fort Gordon Ga when I was introduced to Georgia peaches. I have treasured one for 56 years now.

At one time, in Baltimore, MD, a few local bakeries had a huge reputation as the best Peach Cake around. You had to get there early because they sold out very quickly. I can attest that they were truly delicious and everyone looked forward to next year's Peach season.
