There is a story behind this dog. We were woke up one night a year and a half ago on a very very cold January night about 3am. This little dog was barking on our carport. It was all bones and its coat was in bad shape. We fed it and it ate and ate. Wrapped it up and got it warmed up. We put up flyers and asked the dog pound if anyone had reported losing a dog. After a while quit looking, got her shots up to date and she has been here ever since. Really sweet little dog.
Sometimes I ponder timing. We had just had to put our dog (5lb terrier) down because it had a brain tumor. She was in pain and meds weren't working very well anymore. The vet said her time was close.
Timing, timing is everything to a broken heart and sorrow filled soul.

What a great story, Rick. Dogs somehow know when they've been adopted and they feel loved and welcome in their new home.

Not sure who adopted who. She is willing to pose as long as the treats hold out though. I just got a couple big Octa boxes and wanted to try them out. Love the easy set up.

I was adopted by a wild cat the day my little dog was hit by a car. Somehow they know. Nice.

Several years ago my wife started feeding a wild cat. Due to its size and markings we always wondered if it was a domestic and Bobcat mix. It took a while but she could pet it and even pick it up. It didn't look bad but not 100% health either. We fed it and got some meds from our vet. She slowly improved and became quite the visitor for about a year. She became obviously healthy and her visits became less and less. Greta still talks about her. She compares her to our orange cat (rescue) that went from an undersized kitten to a 23lbs.

She looks like a very sweet little girl, and I like the back story. What's her name? Advice from a groomer: She needs her toenails trimmed!

What do you think Feral? I think she would appreciate an ear scratch.
