Agree with a few others here. Been using LD Products for over 10 years. I have a Canon MX922. Excellent cartridges, lightning fast delivery, 1/3 the cost of OEM and great customer service.
I tried using 3rd party ink in my Epson 7880 printer. I had to get some kizmo to reset the computer chip, but that never worked good. Then the had the computer chip installed with double sided tape. Now one chip has come off inside the printer. I will to have the Epson doctor make a house call. If I would stayed with Epson inks I would not have this problem now.
I've been using InkFarm for years and I buy around 15 to 20 replacements a year with no problems. I maintain an inventory of three cartridges for each color and have not had any problem. Fast service as yesterday I received my order and it was three days after my order. When I changed printers, they took back my inks and replaced them with compatible cartridges for my Epson 860. I would highly recommend them.
Hank6595 reminded me about LD Products. They did the same for me when a printer died. Gave me the new cartridges I needed in exchange for the old ones. Never heard of InkFarm but I will check them out also.

Some swear by 3rd party inks, some swear at them. I am in the latter category.

You've had a bad experience?

I am sure that every one has had different experiences with non OEM ink, but several bad experiences over the years have made me stay away from them. My first trial resulted in clogging two nozzles on a Canon Pro 9000 printer. Ultimately was able to clean the nozzles, but it took a lot of time and effort. Eventually I abandoned the printer due to nozzle problems. More recently, I tried a local source of "compatible": ink for my Canon Pixma MX 922. After a few uses, one nozzle clogged and became unrepairable. Fortunately, a new printer with ink was inexpensive and the road I took.
I checked reviews for several of the sources mentioned in responses and found sufficient negative comments posted to convince me that the cheaper inks are worth what you pay and pose risks.. I am not willing to risk my new and expensive photo printer. So, I will not tell my kids what I am spending, of their money, and will use my printers OEM ink with peace of mind.

I have had two experiences with aftermarket inks for two different Epson printers. In both cases the printers would not accept the cartridges.

I use LD Products ink in my Canon Pro100. I produce prints that are spot on my monitor image. I've never gotten a bad cartridge and their inks never dry up on me. Could not be more satisfied...

Thanks for the responses. I did a search for reviews of LD cartridges. Amazon sells them and most of the reviews were favorable, although there were one or two comments about leaky cartridges. A site called "sitejabber" had several negative reviews.
Consumer reports stated as follows: "In CR's printers survey, 63 percent of respondents who used aftermarket cartridges say they’re just as good as name-brand cartridges, while 36 percent think they’re not up to par."
I guess it's all a matter of luck and how much you're willing to take a chance. It's called freedom of choice.
I do most of my printing when I return from a trip. I regard using OEM ink as part of the cost of the vacation.

Did you follow instructions. Some printers will not seen to recognise the cartridge. It still shows empty, but will print fine...... Cartridges have a serial number and Anne the printers have a memory..... So when you put the refilled one in, the printer thinks it's the old empty cartridge..... The way around it is too put in three or four cartridges, then the refilled one, and it will be seen as full.
I just keep extras on hand, and when the cartridge runs out of ink, put a new one in. No big deal.......
What was your experience?

Probably because the printer recognize the serial number as being in there before and running empty so you have to just buy passed out in the menu for sat Sprint and it'll start printing but you won't be able to read the ink in the cartridge so when it runs out you change it that's why you keep several on that.

I just tossed the aftermarket ink and used Epson Ink and problem solved. No more aftermarket ink for me. Everybody has their methods. That is mine.
