Has any one tried the service in lightroom?
I've used the Instagram service. No problems.
I have used Blurb several times. Excellent but not cheap.
Yes. I use it almost exclusively to manage my SmugMug account. There are some security related setups I handle directly. It is much easier than exporting one by one or even a collection as a batch. Think of it as a marriage of a collection and export.
Even though I always delete exported photos after printing or whatever, I do use “Publish to Disk” during projects to preserve my sanity.

Could you share more about this? I thought FB no longer allowed us to use a publish service link...and Instagram was like that as well.
I use Lightroom to Publish directly to both Flickr and SmugMug. In Flickr I let the service create the Album for me and later organize further into Collections. In SmugMug the service is uploading into Galleries already created in my church's account by someone else. To do that I do have to make a Sync operation beforehand.
I contacted Adobe and they said they discontinued the Facebook service on 08/01/18.
I use it for Smugmug- very handy. Keep right clicking to see other features- set up "new gallery" etc.
Smugmug is accessible from all your devices and very customizable.
