You insist on being the court jester despite how unpopular you are 'eh.

No, it isn't about them ... its about the hypocrisy of the left.

I googled your quote and ... surprise, surprise, surprise ... this is what it returned:

No results found for "I'm not going to Vietnam, I'm not stupid" quote.

I don't like it that rich kids ducked Viet Nam ... but it obviously only bothers you if they don't bear the golden (D) following their name.

Your troll post fools nobody.

Again with the falsehoods. Just cannot tell the truth about trump.

I think even the OP gets the hypocrisy of folks like you Frank.

Those who did nothing to pay for their freedom bother me, those who badmouth others for the same sin disgust me.

Now go play COBRA CORPS with your GI JOE collection.

McCain was ridiculed by who? He’s not a war hero,” “He was a war hero because he was captured. I like people who weren’t captured.” Wonder where these phrases come from.

And a lot of guys chickened out and ran off to Canada. Others claimed conscientious objector status. I know a few of them that were no more conscientious objectors than I was. Then our ignorant politicians gave the Canada runners a free pass to come back after the war was over. I don't hear you ridiculing them? Since we are suppose to forgive them why not Trump as well? Is what you're accusing him of so much different? Bone spurs can vary in severity and very debilitating. Can you prove he lied about having them?

Forgive them for what? That they were smarter than you? Or are you going to try and say the country needed them to protect our shores? We were under attack? Or the best one, the “trickle across the ocean theory, if we do not stop them now, they will be on our shores tomorrow.

Make your case?

What's that?

You don't have one?

But ... I already knew that.

Read a book.

Vietnam was not a war that America should have ever been involved in, I do respect those that served in that war but I have no respect for the politicians and their reasoning for putting us there. I was too young to go but I certainly can't blame anyone for not going to that shitfest.

We mourn the 50,000 American lives lost and we are horrified with what Agent Orange did to many of our boys long after their return from that war.... What about the Vietnamese people? What did the vanity of our politicians mean for them? How many lives did they lose, and what was the effect of Agent Orange on their country and people?

Did you serve Mike? Were you there?
Vietnam was not a war that America should have eve... (show quote)

Not defending the war in any way but your statement "I certainly can't blame anyone for not going to that shitfest" is something we all should think about. What if most Americans felt that way about WWII and the ones that disagreed with the war opted not to go? And yes I realize that was a different time and a different war but we'd probably be speaking German or Japanese right now. Or in the next war and I think it's probably inevitable there will be one sooner or later what if everybody just made there own decision to participate or not. Nice idea but you probably wouldn't win that way and if we ever have to enter another war, enter to win not to do like we did in VN.

Much of America did avoid that war through all different kinds of deferments, medical was certainly one, enrolling into college was another. I don't think that this country will have difficulty in defending itself when attacked or legitimately threatened, we saw folks from all walks of life volunteer after 911 and we will continue to see that type of love and allegiance to our country in the future. Vietnam, and again, I have nothing for respect for those who served, was not a campaign worth dying for, I certainly understand the point that you make, but I will ask you one that is equally valid, should my children or grandchildren be forced to die for the vanity of some politicians? Both sides of the argument I think have merit, your concern can not be dismissed, but history tells us that mine should not be either.

You know that Johnson refused to withdraw stating that he would not be the first president to lose a war, his vanity cost the lives of 10's of thousands of American boys.

My opinion is that trump is an absolute disgrace for a variety of shortcomings that I won't delineate. I am very sad that the other side (Dems) don't seem to have anyone who will beat him. He is taking credit for policies that were put into effect before he was chosen by the Russians.

You're Not serious, But, reckon you are, sad, have a good one.

That is a very foolish thing to say, the decline of the middle class in this country comes from the exportation of manufacturing jobs and the rise of China's economy, not to mention trade deals that were made to the benefit of our trading partners at the expense of American jobs. China still has developing country status and is allowed to impose tariffs on our goods but we are not expected to reciprocate, the trade deals with the EU still reflect the efforts to help rebuild the economies of Europe after WWII.

You are full of it Frank, either you are just poorly informed swallowing the lies of the left, or you are just not a very deep thinker.

I didn't serve either (1Y no ear drum right ear)- but wuod not have served anyway. It was a war started for a false reason, fought the wrong way, and embarrasingly lost, 50+ thousand men died for absolutely nothing and who knows how many lives werre ruined as a result of that mess. It's a staim that can not be erassed from our past. Those who avoided serving should be applauded

May you live long in interesting times. You are a POS to say the least.
