I visited Bar Harbor in 2011, and my photos are here: https://www.flickr.com/photos/8712554@N02/sets/72157627442365941/. (Are you able to view these?)

Interesting, I recognize several of the locations, I have 3 collections of Maine on FAA, 2 Maine and one Boothbay if your interested, Bob.

Found the problem, you must be logged into Flickr to view, my auto login was not working , they seemed to have changed stuff, I do not visit as much as there is a limit on posts now.
I don't understand. My account is set for anyone to be able to view photos. No one else has reported a problem, and I suspect they don't all have Flickr accounts.

My third shot at opening your page was after resolving the username/password situation, that attempt worked, interesting question, I also was under the impression anyone could view the pages.

Port Clyde and Marshall Point Lighthouse are not too far away. Also Friendship Harbor, neat little fishing harbor.

Climb up (easy hike) or drive up Mt. Battie in Camden for spectacular views of the Camden harbor. Drive along Lake Megunticook for lovely foliage. Beech Hill in Rockland is also worth the easy hike for sweeping views of the hills and sea.

Walk the Rockland Breakwater (7/8 of mile). Lovely out there.

I spend a week in Rockport every year (mid-June) and have been going for many years. Let me know if you have any questions. good luck and have fun. It's a gorgeous part of our beautiful country.

While in Rockport don't forget to photograph the motif # 1 in the harbor. Motif #1 is the most painted scene in the country. It is a building where fishermen bring their catches for market. The best time for me any way is in the morning when the fog is just starting to clear and the harbor is glass calm.

The Vesper Hill Chapel near Rockport is a nice restfull spot. I second the recommendation of Mt. Battie (pronounced bay-tee). The view from the top of the tower is outstanding.
