Your abstracts are always interesting, quirky, and often beautiful, but this is simply stunning - I love it!!!

Looks so different. Hard for me to get what my eyes saw out of the way to see some different possibilities. After seeing this, inspired to work it some more.

Sometimes the words can not explain the beauty in one's work. But this is fantastic Simon. YOU DID GOOD!!
Thanks Pat!

I didn't realize that it was a rework of Pat's image - in any case, it's still gorgeous!
I've had several of my images reworked by other people and it's always interesting to see that person's approach and sometimes the rework has changed a basically good picture into something outstanding!
Don't know what going on life is kind of upside down right now...however the last two days just did my own thing and got out and did some shooting, will post some shortly...just went through the last 23 pages of this post...Pat thanks for hosting another great weekend...window reflections (beautiful barn window and church reflection), grandchildren (that was a perfect cannonball), trips to aquariums (loved the octopus shots), old trucks, ponies in the wild, snow scenes and those preparing for the winter months, beautiful hummer captures, sweet treats, fur babies and even a fiddling grasshopper...welcome aboard Duckfan48...
Once again hats off to Bill & Simon great works again! Is that a start to another book jacket I see there Simon?
Hope my world turns itself right side up sometime soon...in the meantime I can escape behind the lens now and again and view the wonderful works on UHH! Thanks again everyone...

Nice series Tim, last one is my favorite. Do you know what it is?
I guess it's some kind of sea anemone. There were so many
different types, and if they were labeled, I missed it.
So glad you enjoyed this series, Nancy, and thank you
so much for your kind words!

Thanks again Tim. This particular family is a favorite among island photographers. They usually reside in the OSV zone so it's a treat to see them. During the summer months these horses move to the developed area to flee the horrendous bugs in the back country (they are just awful!) The NP System does a census of the horses several times a year. They just released their latest and reported no births, deaths or pregnancies. Apparently the bloated belly look is common due to their diet. The abundance of food at this time of year contributes to this as well.

Life can do that to you sometimes, Vicki. Just hang in there, do what needs
to be done, and when you get the chance, take a couple of deep breaths
and chill...well, and a couple sips of your favorite adult beverage is always
good, too...

Thank you Bob, so pleased you liked it. I have tried reworking other people's photos before but just cannot feel it, but with that shot of Pats I saw it straight away
