Our county fair allows only one entry per category. I have several in mind for the "Wildlife" category, and don't know which to choose. What would you choose?
Thanks!

All of these are very nice, but I'd go with the second one, personally. The framing and focus are great - sometimes the presence of branches and foreground foliage can distract from the image, especially in a competition.

My wife and I favor the osprey.
Another vote for number two.
Glad I am not competing against you. The second image, imo, has the most going for it in terms of lighting, composition, and story telling. My second choice would be the final image in your set.
I will be showing in 2 county fairs this year. It is fun to listen and learn and see what others are doing in the community.
Good luck!
Number two, except I'd crop a little off the right - you don't need that extra background.
#2 for sure. I'd crop the top a little, the right even more, and give a little more room on the left for the wing to open, if you have it to give. You can print custom sizes at bay photo and other shops, so don't worry too much about maintaining the aspect ratio unless it has to be certain dimensions, just choose something close.
I like #1 too, I would remove the distracting weed and log bottom left in the foreground.

I would choose the osprey.
Great set, I would pick #2.

I vote for number two as well, and as was said before, I’d crop off some of the right side and maybe a little off the top. Good luck!

Not an easy decision as all of these are very nice, but to me, the one that talked the most to me is the two moose!
don't crop #2, esp'ly from the right - it would move the subject to the center, rather than the more interesting off-center,dynamic image you have now
