I am co-leading a photo tour of Cuba in January 2020.
We will stay in private homes and travel in the classic cars.
The travel agent has been doing this for 12 years and her license is not affected
but the travel limits to Cuba.

We will go to Vinales, Havana and Trinidad (Cuba)
I am not sure if I can post the itinerary here.

PM me if interested.

You should be ashamed to even suggest going to a violent socialist country and providing financial support and legitimacy for it.

I've been to Cuba and the little bit of money that the government gets for visa or entry is minimal. The people in the country are all equally poor and the money to stay in a home take a classic car tour or eat at a small café is good for them.

***We have used the category of "Support for the Cuban People" which is not being restricted with the new changes. Commercial airline flights continue to operate unchanged and our Visa category and business license remain the same as well.***

Well if you can’t trust the Castro regime, who can you trust?

Please I did not want to start a problem with the reasons people don't want to go. I have been there a few times, can't wait to go back.
It is the people that benefit from the travel, not the government.

You forget that Cuba is a socialist country and thus the people are owned and controlled by the government. You are delusional if you believe otherwise. You can try to rationalize it anyway you want but the country kills those it does not like such as political opponents and their families including children.
Having served many years in SA and seen first hand what Cuba has done in murderous ways it is reprehensible.

You are wrong in what you say. I am not ashamed, as I have been there and the people we stay with and the guys who work full time for the travel agents, are well cared for. It is supporting them, NOT the government.

Your suggestion that dollars spent there kills another child is just wrong and not correct.
You should be ashamed of your views if you have never been there.

It does NOT support the people.
It fully supports the government and gives it legitimacy.
Shameful to say other wise and try to rationalize something evil.

Have you ever seen the murderous side of Cuba, the repression of all real freedom?
I have seen behind the curtain and it is despicable and people who spend dollars there are supporting that no matter how they rationalize it in their minds.
Go in your delusional state and pretend what you wish. It is all phony like OZ was.

This post was an offer to go to Cuba on a tour. It wasn't an invitation to discuss the politics of a foreign country.

I do know first hand and seen the death and destruction behind the curtain.
Like the clowns who visited the Soviet Union or Nazi Germany and were only allowed to see what was allowed and not the prisons and torture and death behind the curtain.
I had a couple of buddies killed by those loving Cubans as well.

It is pure delusional politics. Of all the nations on earth to select a repressive socialist regime to visit? That is disgusting. Why not help the people of Guatemala or Ecuador or Uruguay?
