Here's my #2. I just can't seem to keep my hands off this image!
It is such a wonderful image Kenni, and the offerings are great too. I had to play with it, but tried something extreme since I'm late to the party.

I am always a big fan of artistic processing and this is no exception. I love the addition of the car and the dog.

An Edsel ???
Yup. I came upon an Edsel graveyard rambling in the wilderness of backwoods Mississippi. The guy had a dozen of them. Great fun.

When they were first introduced most didn't think they were worth much. I'll bet that's changed. A lot.
Nice find
Keni, this was such an excellent image to have fun playing with. It has so many creative possibilities demonstrated by all the great edits this time around.
I couldn’t help myself. Since we seem to be doing 2 edits now, here’s another one. My first edit was monochrome and a little soft because of my edit method. I played around with this a little more and decided to add some of the color back in because of the complementary colors between the pueblo and the sky. But I still wanted to tamp down the image’s high contrast. I understand a dog was running around so I added one just for visual interest. I frivolously added a hawk for more visual interest and because of its importance in Native American culture.
I wasn’t sure if a frame was within the rules, but Linda’s post said there were no restrictions. So I added a picture frame to the image just to see what it might look like displayed on a wall.

Yes, frames and mats are allowed. And for those who missed my earlier comments, the two-entry limit was set by ebrunner a few months ago and mentioned again by him last week. btw, I have fingers crossed that there will be no tie (or ties??) with the voting this week
You all are doing fantastic work!

Mike I think this is outstanding. It is soft but without loss of detail in the subject. I think the addition of the hawk is very appropriate. Unlike many other Native American tribes the Tiwa are one of the few that were not forced off of their native lands although not without bloodshed and it holds great spiritual meaning to them. I feel like this version captures some of that spirituality for me.
