The Dragonfly Society of the Americas (DSA) advances the discovery, conservation and knowledge of Odonata through observation, collection, research, publication and education. The DSA encourages scientific research, habitat preservation, and aesthetic enjoyment of Odonata through (1) cooperation and comradeship among odonatologists worldwide; (2) fostering interchange between amateurs and professional enthusiasts; (3) establishing publications to disseminate information relating to Odonata; (4) support for wetlands and habitat preservation as the most effective manner for odonate conservation; and (5) cooperation with organizations sharing common goals of environmental preservation.

Not a brag Doc, just deserts in the best meaning of the phrase! Your work is worthy of this kind of use and I am happy for you. Congratulations.

Can't thank you enough Phil. Those kinds of comments really push me to do even better. Why else do we do this than to share our knowledge and our best work with the Hog family. Have a great day my friend!

I really appreciate that Donna. You encouragement since I've joined the Hog Family has been inspiring for me. I didn't even know it until my dragon hunting partner, Dr. Buck Snelson called to tell me. What a nice surprise. All the best to you and your family Donna.

Come on Sylvia. Pretty soon you'll have me thinking I'm a real photographer and not just a taker of pictures. Seriously though that really inspires me to do even better. This was a hard shot. Followed it from the marsh across the road and into the woods. Of course it perched deep in and in a very dark area. Got lucky by staying with it. Thanks for looking in.

....And well deserved Doc, that's pretty close to as perfect a shot as they get!
The world needs more people like you to bring attention to the beauty of the smaller wildlife they tend to see through and ignore, when spraying their pesticides. I'm sure I can speak for everyone here that your help on this forum is greatly appreciated.

I'm really not sure what to say Victor. I've never received accolades like that for anything I've done. I can't begin to tell you what it means to me my friend.
You are correct about the pesticides. I emphasize that every time I do a presentation. I see it first hand. Like you, I share my passion and concern for the small creatures in nature. If we don't share our knowledge with our fellow Hoggers and anyone who will listen to us - who will? They can't speak about the things that are harming them or the destruction of their habitat so we have to.
Thank you again my friend. All the best to you.

Thanks so much Greg. I appreciate that more than you can imagine. However, I must finally say what I've been thinking for a while. When I see your work and I think of what you go through some days, I am truly inspired. The congratulations goes to you my friend!
