Optech works great, no more neck pain.

I've been using Up Strap products for the last 19 years. Impeccable company.

When I'm hiking or biking I use the Peak Capture camera clip along with the Cuff wrist strap. They both work really well for me. Even if I'm going to the beach to shoot a sunrise or just a short walk I attach the camera clip to a waist belt that has pouches for a couple of lenses and even a water bottle.

I have an Optech and at noted in other posts, Peak is just as good. Rather than an elaborate shoulder/waist harness setup I kept it real simple and went with a shoulder strap that goes across my left shoulder and keeps the camera motionless on my right hip (I'm right handed). I like the Optech because it attaches on either side of the camera where the original strap attached and holds the camera flat and upright against my hip. Some setups attach to the tripod mount on the bottom...stay away from that.

Totally agree, staying away from attaching to tripod mount.

Urban Sling by OPTECH USA https://optechusa.com/urban-sling.html
The only thing that I might expand on is that the OP/TECH USA URBAN Sling (cross body) works very well by keeping the camera load well distributed and close to the body.
OP/TECH USA also sells handy attachments for all (go to their "Home Page") of their straps, such as battery holders, memory card holders, provision for extra bodies, etc.
The "Urban Sling" strap is almost infinitely adjustable with a simple pull strap, and it has no visible brand markings. It also has the (rear) embedded cable to prevent the slash and grab thief.
I adjust the "Urban Sling" strap so that I can comfortably keep my hand on my camera grip. Using their Sling straps you may always raise your camera to your eye in one quick motion as demonstrated on their video.
I personally have three OP/TECH USA Slings and they have been all over the world serving me well in all respects. They are made in the USA with quality materials and have a generously padded strap.
Two final points, Their prices are excellent for the quality you receive, and I do not work for OP/TECH USA. You can pay more but OP/TECH Quality is 1st rate.

Enjoy your trip!

I agree! because, How do I attach the camera to a tripod without removing the strap? As you attach and de-attach the strap the threads will wear out.

Peak Design is a nice ecosystem of straps and camera clutches that allow rapid removal of straps and allow the use of a body clutch. For walking around I have a wide strap and the clutch attached to the camera. When I get into shooting, I will remove the wide strap to get it out of the way to shoot without interference. I often use their ARCA plates and capture clips but recently started using an L bracket. The L bracket is completely compatible with the Peak Design ecosystem. Again the clutch and straps are very nice.

And OpTech offers a system that lets you buy a neck strap and with a few additional pieces, convert it to a one shoulder sling strap and back again. Lots of flexibility and comfort.

My two cents worth:
I've been using a Black Rapid over the shoulder strap for about a year now and find it works perfectly for my needs.
Included below is a photo of the attachment system that seems far superior to anything I've used before. It is attached finger tight and never seems to loosen (I unconsciously check it every once in a while).
There is a safety strap attached to the main camera strap attachment point just for peace of mind.
Please note that I very seldom ever use a tripod with the lenses in my collection - they all have the latest IS capability making a tripod almost obsolete.

I'm on my second Peak strap. The first one was one of the 2" types and although it worked well it was very bulky when trying to fit it into a camera bag. I'm now using the 1 1/4" size which is much more compact. Also, it is attached on either side of the camera body rather than one end being attached to the bottom plate which I found made the camera hang awkwardly.

IF YOU HAVE A BEARD,
Hold the strap against said beard and see if it rips out any hairs.
I've had two consecutive buys do this and gone back to my original.
It is downright irritating and will have you calling into question the legitimacy of the idiots who made them, in colourful language.
