Trump Campaign Dumps Pollsters After Low Numbers

"President Donald Trump’s re-election campaign has severed ties with some of its pollsters after the leak of months-old surveys showed him trailing former Vice President Joe Biden in key states, according to multiple reports.
The moves come ahead of the official launch of Trump’s campaign at a Tuesday rally in the battleground state of Florida, and as an NBC-Wall Street Journal poll released Sunday showed that a majority of voters are “uncomfortable” with voting for Trump.
Assessments of the economy have weakened in other surveys, and the public increasingly doubts the administration’s immigration enforcement efforts.
NBC News first reported that the Trump pollsters were ousted following revelations that internal campaign polling from March showed Trump trailing Biden in traditionally Democratic-leaning states such as Pennsylvania that cemented the president’s victory in 2016, as well as in swing states and some typically Republican strongholds such as Georgia.
Even in the solidly Republican state of Texas, which last voted for a Democrat for president in 1976, Trump led by just 2 percentage points in the March polls, NBC said.
In 2016 Trump beat Democrat Hillary Clinton in Texas by 9 percentage points.
The campaign’s move, which saw the purge of three of its five pollsters, was aimed at limiting the number of outsiders who could leak unfavorable poll numbers, according to the New York Times."

Not really, he calls them fake because he knows it is BS when they indicate that he is behind, yes he likes them when they are accurate which they rarely are, 2016 demonstrates that. I still hate polls regardless.

The lying liars on the fake news industry, they also realize that a poll can be constructed in such a manner that any desired result can be ‘found’ ... and that the dumb masses won’t dig into the methodology, preferring the spoon fed headline.

Let’s review ... a known fake news source, BLOOMBERG, quotes a century old fake news source, NYT, which quotes unnamed sources about unknown polls which are already months old and have no released methodology ... and that is good enough for you?

All thinking adults know that a year and a half away from the election polls mean nothing. In 2016 on election night and leading up to the election, polls meant nothing.

An odd thing happened the other day. I sat and watched Fox News. After an hour, I looked back and now I fully understand where the people on this site are coming from.
Fox spent an hour explaining things like why Sarah Huckabee isn't a liar and how unfair everyone is to the President and how Melania "is the new Jackie-O".
There was zero fairness in what they reported and frankly, having already read several other sources I knew that what they were reporting wasn't just slanted, it was an out and out lie.
I sincerely encourage people who take their news from Fox to start fact checking and reading or even watching other sources. You are being lied to everyday and buying into the lie just gets you in deeper.
