The texture looks like rusted metal and is very appropriate for the scene. Love your use of negative space and the pop of red. Beautifully conceived and executed IMO.

Beautiful color, texture, and composition. Except, for me, the red, which I don't understand. If you feel like it, perhaps you would tell me what you were doing with that?

Super image and great choice of texture and colours.
For me, the red anchors the silos firmly to the ground and might represent the blood sweat and toil of an agricultural life.

I like many things about your image, including the red, which seems to call out the color in the sky, to my eye, at least.

Not sure about the splotches on the left, though. They seem to struggle against the elliptical vignette, and also might unbalance the structures a little. Might be just me.

Being new to this group, I haven't seen any of the others in your series, yet. I'll need to go back and take a look. If they're like this, they'll be well worth the time. Thanks for sharing.

artBob thanks for you nice comments. As to the red, I think it was because of the reddish soil in parts of western ND, I added some vibrancy and discovered I liked it. Purely a matter of my sometimes goofy taste. RBorud
