Hi to everyone, I'm Joanne frm Asia. I bought myself a Canon 3000D. I always loved photography since I was a little, those beautiful sceneries, wonderful exposures and shots. Hoping to learn more here. Thank you!
Welcome Joanne
First read up on how to use your camera then go and try it out. When you have a question, there are many here to help out. I'm mostly a Nikon user so I cannot give camera use advice for your model but general use, we all can guide you along. Remember there is lots of learning videos on YouTube to help you along too. Finding a local buddy photographer may also help you along. Look for your community blog online and under photography you'll probably find many who share your interests. They can also steer you to local events or parks that may be new things to photograph. Welcome to the world of photography, your journey has begun.
Greetings. Learn all you can. Read books / magazines, take courses, watch videos. Youtube has a lot of educational videos on photo subjects. NYIP-The New York Institute Of Photography has a great mail order course. It costs a bit, but is worth it. Get out often, and shoot as many photos as you can of as many things in as many places as possible. Experiment with multiple exposures, macro images, sports photos, landscapes, people portraits, pet portraits, and more. As you can afford to, buy extra lighting units, diffusers, reflectors, lenses, filters, stands, etc. Mimic the style of famous photographers until you find what you like, and develop a style of your own. Have fun, and keep in touch.
