Trying the determine which calibrator is the most frequently used by HH's, and the most popular. Reviews by Amazon are all over the place. Just need a reliable calibrator for the hobbyist photographer. Thanks

I'm using X-Rite i1 Display Pro for many years and I'm very happy with it!

Well, thanks a lot to all the responders to my post...it looks like a tie between Spider Pro 5 and X-rite i1 Display Pro. both with seven vote apiece. This is helpful, and I appreciate the feedback. Great to be on this site...everyone is so helpful. Keep shooting and thanks again. John

Boils down to a Ford/Chevy sort of issue. Opinions are nice, but see whether you can find a rental shop - or borrow from a friend(s) - and try both and see which works best for YOU.

Xrite i1 Display Pro and Xrite software to calibrate my monitor with a programmable LUT.

I had the Spider ? four I think. I was getting inconsistent results. Sold it bought the Xrite and have gotten consistent results ever since.
