There is something that in my humble opinion you need to understand. Selecting a camera is a very personal decision based on how it feels in your hands, how it operates in favor of what you do and when its ergonomics just fit your personal style.

Upgrading usually happens when the present camera is not doing the job, like not a good AF for wildlife photography or when the shooting sequence it is capable of is not enough for our needs. None of my cameras, to give you an example, are new but they give me the service I expect and need from them and it is more than obvious to me that a new, fancy camera will not make me better or fulfill the needs that these old bodies do.

If your camera is not doing what you need from it and I am not including here quality images that depend on you more than they depend on the camera, save your money for a good lens and keep your present camera.

Baxter2, you have nothing to apologize for; it's just that some of the grumpy old farts on here don't know how to answer some people without trying to insult them. They just assumed you ignored the first set of answers, and for some reason you did it on purpose. You will learn soon enough which ones on here to ignore.

What is your budget?
If you have money get a 5D M iv or the R.
Easy for a beginner and you will likely never outgrow them

All cameras are beginner cameras. It all depends on your budget.

Lack of punctuation has a great tendency to create ambiguity and confusion.
Could also be taken as "...the canon t7i I have..."
So which one does he has?{sic}

I understood that he has neither.

I rest my case.

(That's what I thought at first.)

OP clearly states "...I have the t7..." and "...my t7...".
It is possible he is still in the "return it" time frame and wants to know if swapping it for a t7i is worth it.

So I misunderstood! And thus the OP already own the T7 and I feel certainly he/she should not get the T7i. The T7 was released after the T7i although it's a lower end model. If the OP feels that the T7i is more suited for the OP the OP should have bought it then. Now it would cost significant money to change. It's certainly not worthwhile.

I see no "and" here in THIS thread, unless my computer is stripping it.

From a professional editor and proofreader: Right on! Without
punctuation, you end up with one too-long honkin' sentence.
BTW, this site is the poster child for horrific spelling and grammar.

I just recently, (last week) bought the t7i, and I hate it, I have the T3i, love it, so I thought I would upgrade, and got the T7i, my T3i pics come out way better. but the T3i is having a few other problems, so I think it's time to upgrade, and now I am not sure which to get? I am sending the T7i back tomorrow.
