But he didn't clear trump either!

Not only did he not clear Trump, 1000+ former federal prosecutors representing the past 11 real administrations found reasons in the documents to INDICT Trump.

LOCK HIM UP.

So you know then that the President was found to be innocent by the investigation.
What is your intent for posting old news? Reminiscing what could have been?

That's where you're wrong, and you've been listening to the trump propaganda machine again!

trump was not found innocent!

In actuality, there was insufficient evidence to bring charges as laid out in Volume I of the Mueller Report.

That's a whole lot different than finding someone innocent, which by the way isn't possible under our legal system. A defendant is either found guilty, or they're found not guilty.

The trump team made a concerted effort to destroy evidence, used encrypted email services to hide communications, and they've blocked the release of evidence and testimony to Congress that the trump campaign and the trump administration willingly turned over to Mueller and his team, or allowed testimony to the Mueller team, or to the Grand Jury. But as disclosed in the Mueller Report, there was a whole lot of very convenient memory loss during that allegedly openly given testimony!

It had something to do with lack of evidence and mueller believing he could not charge a sitting president.
Which leaves all of us with the president being innocent until proven guilty.
Shocking, but that "is" the American way.

The difference being that IF trump wasn't the sitting president, he WOULD have been criminally charged.

The only thing keeping trump out of court is that his uneducated base chose to believe all of the Russian sponsored propaganda spread on Social Media leading up to the 2016 Elections.

But the majority of today's voters have wised up to all of the trump lies and the Russian propaganda.

They will not make the same mistake in 2020!

Not only didn't he charge him with any crimes because of those reasons, he also didn't accuse him of any crimes, nor did he suggest that any crimes be referred to Congress for Impeachment consideration, which pretty much says that he couldn't find anything of any substance to even accuse Trump of.

What rock have you been hiding under?

A week ago, Mueller held a press conference where he did say that it was up to Congress to take his findings and move onto the next step.

That next step is for Congress to investigate trump and if they find sufficient evidence of High Crimes and Misdemeanors then they should open impeachment hearings.

Nancy Pelosi has stated that trump should be facing prison time instead of impeachment.

Speaker Pelosi is trying to keep the investigations going on a fact finding mission, and to release those facts to the public. Getting all of the facts released to the public will educate the trump base, as well as members of the GOP who haven't even taken the time to actually read the Mueller Report. His base is slowly finding out that Mueller did NOT find trump innocent of all charges.

The prospect of trump facing Criminal Charges is a far better outcome than the Senate refusing to even hold a sham hearing where the GOP will not take their Oath of Office seriously and hold trump accountable for his actions.

Old school. No charges referred means that’s all folks.

Saying the next step is up to Congress is a clear message and call to action. You really need to work on your English comprehension.

In other words, Mueller didn't find anything so he is punting the ball to the Democrats in hopes that they can find something.

So they should just re-hash the same stuff that Mueller looked at for two years and couldn't find anything? Besides, Pelosi says adamantly that impeachment is off the table, so what's the point?

So what? More people than that said that that Hillary Clinton should be in jail. Why cite meaningless rhetoric? Pelosi is just saying provocative things to get excitement from her base. If she was serious, she would actually impeach.

You sure are hopeful! All us Conservatives knew that a sizable portion of Democrats was not going to accept the findings of the Mueller Report, even when they said they would.

Of course Pelosi is trying to keep the investigation going. That's the only straw the Democrats have to cling onto. They don't have majority public support for any of their main policies.

You are going to be fuming mad when the first indictments come out of the Obama Administration officials involved in the real corruption. Can't wait to hear your defense of them.

How ironically ironic. "Cherry picking" from a list of one.

Had an interesting conversation this morning at my 8 year old grandson's last little league game.
Son-in-Law introduced me to one of his fly fishing buds, a U.S. Attorney. After the conversation turned political, his comment on the Mueller report was 'steaming pile' (in his office they had all dissected and discussed it, coming up with zip. Nada. Nothing.)
And on those 'thousand + former federal prosecutors'? Political grandstanders.

Those "Political grandstanders" represent both REPUBLICAN and Democratic appointees.
