Wow, and soooo clean and shiny. Only thing more I could want is to hear it start up!

I remember a friend of mine, Debbie, took such a shot at a Ocean City car show. Her style is unique. She used another cars hub cap to mirror another car in it. The shot was crazy good and really thinking out of the box.

Spotless, inside and out...
It would have been a blast to hear it running, but the owner was not around when I photo'ing the car.

Nice shots Tom!! But I can't tell if it is a 1955 or 1956 BelAir without seeing hood ornament or complete rear end?? I would guess"55". Thanks for sharing

55 would be correct..
Only emblems on the car were the Chevrolet that you can see in the one photo...
And I do know the owners name was Dean, as it license tag was DEANS55.....I'm taking that as a clue to his name anyway...lol.

Any ideas as to the function of the 3 stick shifts? I'm hoping one is for eco mode and another is for activating the carbon filter. These old gas guzzlers spew CO2 and particulate matter finer than our lungs can handle big time.
Sadly, it looks like the owner is still driving it rather than putting it in a museum.

Not co2/ but "co" carbon monoxide

One more of the Chevy....
Rear view showing part of the license tag....notice it says....deans55, which is the reason for me to say it was a 55 but that also doesnt mean that it correct tho, just one would assume if they didnt know what year the car was.....

That is a nice looking '55 Chevy. I had one when I was in the army. That and the '57 were the two classic cars made by Chevrolet. They never made anything else that matched those two models. If I could find a '55 today at a decent price I would buy it.

Slow brain day, huh!
If we don't keep those brain cells active everyday, we stagnate. None of that for me!!!

Beautiful image and car. The 55 was always my favorite of the tri 5 Chevys. Almost had a mint 55 as my first car - couldn't raise the $300 to buy it, and I still think of that car today.

It's a Hurst Lightning Rod used for "bang shifting" the tranny. As for particulate matter and CO2 you better tell those volcanos to stop erupting!
