Traveled to Folkston with a friend to photograph the sunrise from the Okefenokee Swamp Sunday morning. We had low water conditions that restricted boat travel in the prairies that are accessed off the Suwannee Canal. I had hoped for a more dramatic sunrise and more wildlife activity but still enjoyed the experience of the swamp and had a fun trip. Hope you enjoy.

Ya dun good Snappy, really excellent photos...

Wonderful! I'd stopped at the hawk and then more great wonders as I continued to scroll.

Very nice series!! Where did you find the dead dragon? I occasionally find them, but usually the ants get there first -- lucky. The next appears to be a robust meadow grasshopper, actually a katydid relative, genus Orchelimum, I think (i.e. not a 'grasshopper' at all); a particularly fine shot.

The dragon fly wasn’t dead. It happened to land on a guys hand and posed for photographs for about 30 seconds before flying on. Thanks for having a look

Really weird leg placement! Fooled me entirely. Mea culpa. Guess it was cleaning its legs?
