Each one is excellent in its own way. You're well into Photoshop now, you should be proud of yourself for staying with the program learning the finer parts of the program.

Very nice. I bet the mask made it easier to color within the lines.

Thank you. Actually I didn't use a mask for the coloring. I kept the brush very soft and cleaned up anywhere I messed up. However, next time I'll be smart. A mask would certainly make it easier!

Thank you for the very nice words. Actually I use Affinity but you're right about sticking with it. PP software is best learned in small bites, not big gulps.

PP can be serious business. But your fun with PP produced some nice results. Particularly the last one.

Thank you, Frank. I'm better at the basic adjustments but would like to get better at the fanciful stuff.

My changes are tame compared to what many do but I enjoy using software.

Wow, steady hand, using a tablet or mouse?

A quick way to stay in the lines without a mask is to use the selection tools. The brush will not go outside the selection. Or if you pick select and mask after selecting, there are many refinement options for the selection that can take a lot of getting used to. Refine edge is amazing. Feathering a couple if pixels will soften the edge. Output to selection to paint right on that same layer or to a mask for greater control.

Thank you for the suggestions. When I said mask I was thinking selection. I use Affinity and am working g through the Affinity Workbook. It has really reinforced ways of making localized adjustment as easily as possible but your suggestions are very clear and should be helpful. I did this with a mouse. I have considered getting a tablet but never could makeup my mind. I have a cat that lays on the desk when I work. He likes to lick my mouse hand! Now that makes things difficult!
