Hey, RG … how many mosques have YOU seen in Bonnie Scotland, me lad?

How about 48?

The bigger questions, Chris, are if you even know what a mosque is, or looks like, or when was the last time you went to "Bonnie" Scotland, me lad?

We're no stranger to the UK/Scotland - she studied at Queen Mary in East London, and earned a graduate degree at University of Edinburgh. This hardly qualifies me to be regarded as an anglophile, but at least I pay attention to what I witness when I travel. Photographer's eye/perspective I guess.

Just got the programme through for my local club next season. Our 2nd competition is TYPICALLY BRITISH.

I've got a few ideas but I'm thinking that what I'm thinking is what a lot of others are thinking too.
So I'm asking Hedgehoggers (non U.K.) what do you think is typically British?

I'm thinking of RAIN, Sports Car (AH Frogeye Sprite or TR6), Red Telephone Kiosk (though none have phones in these days), Old London Bus, Full English Breakfast, Afternoon Tea etc.

Looking forward to hearing what 'forgieners' have to say!

It's my first year in the Intermediate classification and I want to make a statement.

Thanks.

A Rugby, Football (soccer) or Ice Hockey game - these are the three most highly attended sporting events in Scotland. In the rest of the UK, Football, and there is always Cricket -

Shakespeare, thespians in general. It is in the DNA. Scene outside a pub on a nice sunny Sunday. Obviously with pints the center of attraction. Also see if you can get Keira Knightly in there with a pint or for her more likely a Pimms.

Google will give you more than you want. I would suggest a Mini Cooper with an English flag painted on the roof.

I cried during the movie "Butterfield 8" not because Elizabeth Tailor was killed, but because a Sunbeam Alpine was destroyed.

Castles, pubs, backyard garden (narrow and deep), row houses, colored front doors, country church, cathedrals, ladies in overcoats, cars on the left, signs saying “mind the gap”, bucolic fields with sheep or horses
