Long story short: two old friends --who both, before retiring, had successively been Chairs of the Art History Dept at a major university-- had been visiting this week. Though both had seen any number of my more documentary images during prior visits, neither had ever seen any of my more 'interpretive' work before yesterday afternoon. Of the images I'd most recently shot and had been working on --several of which I posted yesterday-- the accompanying two images are the images the Professors Picked. It seems that 'PP' can have several different meanings.
Late getting to these, but glad I did. AND, thanks for providing the downloads. Really beautiful!

I can see why they chose those two. Though, the first one appears just a bit 'hot' in the upper left corner. Still a very nice photograph.

The profs have good taste. In the first one, I'd have liked to have seen less dirt at the bottom and more of the spectacular sky at the top. But, that's just me.
Well deserved recognition, Jim!
I believe ....ah .. yes .., I believe these will do ...ahhh.. quite nicely .... # 1 my favorite ...

Jim, not only do I love this set, I love the new meaning of PP. You are blessed with your "EYE" and the friends you have made through the years.

Nice--especially the first one. I really like the vertical landscape.
Awesome light you have captured, Cany.
