Blue Heron flying away

I generally don't like to take south end shots of a northbound bird, but in this case my favorite Blue Heron flew away from me and halfway across the park pond before deciding to make a banking turn and land again on the bank under some overhanging trees.

I'm glad I kept tracking him.

It's a gorgeous shot regardless of direction. Besides, you can clearly see his head and eye. Very well done.

Very nice. My grandson calls this kind of shat a "butt shot". This is a quite nice one.
