Both shoulders at different times. PT hurt way more then the injury but without the PT you could end up with a frozen shoulder which will limit movement. Still playing tennis at 69.
I slept sitting up and found, on my second, using the sling with the 3” spacer was so much less pain than just a sling.
Wishing you the best.

Before I put on fresh pants I thread the belt thru first. Funny, a few years ago I got a monogrammed belt at a stand at the Grand Marais Fishermans Picnic and later noted that the pants makers make rather tight belt loops.

I go to the VA for all my medical issues and after both surgeries I asked about PT and I was told there is no PT for my shoulder. I have been doing my own exercises and I have been able to get most of my movements back except for sliding a belt thru the loops. At the small of my back I can’t get my arm far enough to pull my belt thru. I am also able to lift 15 lbs with my left arm

Like most other responders, I, too, experienced the same some years ago on a visit to Hawaii. I could barely get the keys in the ignition and after surgery I was anxious to get back to normal. But, it took me at least 12 weeks before I could even type on the keyboard comfortably. Take your time and do your PT, it will be much better in the long run. Don’t sacrifice healing time now for what you could, likely, lose in the future.
