I forgot to say that it comes with front and rear lens caps and hood.

I don't see a way to edit the post.

I had one of those for years. Sharp for a steal of a price! Used it on the D200 and D300 I had back then. It was great for travel and it did a number of trips to Mexico and Aruba and other places, too. Light weight, not very big. I loved mine.

I have the same lens on my Nikon and love it. Super sharp and a super bargain at that price. The only comment I might have is mine has a bit of "lens creep" when held with lens pointing downward. Easily fixed in 3 seconds with a "lens band" from Amazon for around 5 bucks....or just use a heavy rubber band if necessary. Some owners have the lens creep, others do not have it. In any case, it's an excellent lens and well-worth the price.

Mine has a lock button that solves the creep problem.

The lock button only works at 18 mm. If you zoom out (lock button off) it is no help.

Congratulations. You won't regret it. My daughter-in-law took that lens on her Nikon D5500 to Africa on a 2-week photo safari and returned with hundreds of beautiful photos. The quality and sharpness of the exposures was just remarkable for a relatively inexpensive zoom lens.

Hi - I PM"d you twice - I may have been too quick I will buy the lens if it will work on my Nikon D3, I am unfamiliar with the Di II designation. Please advise, If it will not work on the D3 then I will regretfully have to withdraw my offer to buy. If it will work with the D3 then my offer stands - Send me your e-mail address and I will pay through Paypal.
Thanks,
Gilkar

Adam Selene: I replied on UHH to your ad on the Tamron lens a couple of days ago with a question about the lens as well as the fact that I was very interested in the lens you have for sale. No answer from you. Now I find that you are considering selling to another party. ?????
