Every spring at this time we are blessed by the passing through of hordes of birds heading north to their breeding grounds. Many stop in the boreal forests of northern Canada while others venture onward to the arctic regions. At the present time I am feeding about 200 of these characters. Seed is quickly disappearing and my wallet is shrinking. But tis one of my favourite passtimes. I am truly blessed that I can indulge in two of my hobbies at the same time, bird watching and photography. I've attached a few pics of some of those that are flitting around my yard at the present time. This is just a small sample of what we have moving through and there are still some that haven't even got here yet (like the White-crowned Sparrow).

Perfect captures!! So nice to know you can indulge in two favorite hobbies at the same time!

Here in West Michigan, the only bird I've heard so far,is my favorite,a red-winged blackbird. Their call always takes me back to my childhood, when we lived along the lake.

Birds are wonderful.Hope to see more from you!!
👍👍👍👍👍

Terrific! Your series would make a beautiful wall-hanging exhibit.
