Do you have problems with your vision and photography or shooting with glasses? I've just seen a story on the news about corneal re-shaping contact lenses which are worn at night that allow you to see 20/20 during the day. It costs about $1000/yr. If you'd be interested, google corneal re-shaping contact lenses.

No contact lenses for me! $1000 a year for how many? My guess is a lot and so each pair is relatively cheap and I don't think you can make good optics for cheap.

Not regular contacts, they re-shape your cornea.

This is an alternative to lasic. It's targeted primarily for individuals involved in sports who are too young for lasic but also adults who prefer not to have lasic.

This procedure has been around for quite a few years. If it where me I would run away as fast as I could. You never know when other ocular complications can occur that because of this could render you in a world of deep doo doo especially for us old folks.

I have been shooting with glasses for the past 30 years, absolutely no issues.

The main problem I ran into with glasses is the light rendered the image in the viewfinder hard to see. Solution was wide brimmed hats, such as a boonie hat or in summer a soft brimmed toyo hat. Brim flops up for vertical shots, down for the rest of the time.

No thanks. I have no desire or need to have my corneas re-shaped.

I spent $400 for my last set of eyeglasses. And, I thought that was too much. No way would I spend $1000 per year for that offer. I shoot alright with my camera using them.

No thanks, I been wearing glasses since 1971. And with my cameras with diopter adjustments I take my glasses off when shooting.
