I know that there are some people out there who might get upset with me for posting.
The last time I posted, I was told to that I have no business having this camera! And I
have not posted since. I was thinking of just leaving the group, but have found that
most people here are friendly and truly try to help the community.

So as my story goes, I am back to being a beginner as I have not done any serious
photography in over 30 years. When I was in my early 20's I had a small photography
business that actually did fairly well.

Well the reason for this post, is that I am hoping this will help others with the new
Fujifilm X-T30. The attached PDF is how I set up my menu, it will also give you a
better view of the menu without having to sift through all the camera settings one by
one.

Hopefully this will help some of you out.

Great set of information for the seniors who need to setup the camera, since its not that easy. Well appreciated. Will forward it to my cousin who just purchased one.

If needed Creative Live has wonderful instructional videos on setting up and using most camera models. I particularly like the instructor.

This is a photography forum. It is intended for those who appreciate critique, who want to learn and for those who are proud to exhibit their work hopefully putting their ego aside.
I see nothing wrong with a person such as you posting and in regard to cameras you simply use what fits your style and has the features you need in your photography. That is nobody else business.
Keep on posting and keep on learning. You are on the right track.

Very well done and thank you for posting this. It should be a great aid for those using the X-T30.

Thanks.

Nice of you to share your settings.

I have the X-T20; I use the built-in flash and a Nissan 700Ai flash we shooting people, especially our 8 year old granddaughter.

Thanks for the information. I'm considering buying one.

As for the nasty comments, that seems to happen here more than on other sites. I guess we have more than our share of unhappy people. Ignore them. Everyone here has received unwarranted nasty comments. You have to feel sorry for the people living with people like that. Keep posting.

Try it and let us know. I suspect that Fuji uses the same Menu system for all its cameras.

One criticism I've read in Fuji reviews is of their bad Menu system. I've never seen it, though. I would think that once you get used to it, you'll be able to use it.

I sold my D500 and Nikon gear and went with the Fuji system. My X-T3 has the easiest menu system I have ever used. That an the ease of the old style dials make it a breeze to become acclimated to the their system. My only negative is the lack of non Fuji lens.
