Tigers in the wild in Pench and Khana, India.
Sylvias
Loc: North Yorkshire England
After cancelled flights and new ones booked, missed connections I eventually arrived in India! A four hour drive to reach the Tuli Tiger Accommodation in Pench, in the middle of nowhere in the dark, the car had a puncture! Arrived tired and weary at midnight, ready for the wake up call at 4.15am.
Temperatures in the mid 40c (111f), high humidity with dusty and hazy days. Ten minutes into the first game drive the vehicle had a puncture, then another one 40 minutes later.
Some of the shots are heavily cropped, the 400 lens did its best but some of the tigers were a long way away.
Hope you enjoy the set, the evening light was beautiful.

Great shots of the cats, I also like the forest mood in #6.
What an incredible, breathtaking experience! And this is only day 1, right?
The light in your two scenic shots is marvelous.
