For 8x10 number 2 would be worth a try. Has a greater depth and shows sun shadows well. I always take the easy way out. "Whatever you think Dear." Good luck and thanks for sharing the photos.

All very nice, since you ask I like the colors and reflections in #1, the shadows in #2 and the framing in #3, hope I remembered the right things for the right shots, Bob.

Thanks Bob, I appreciate you looking and participating (and your choices) with your votes!!

I like #3. I’ve been there too and it gives a better sense of the environment.

Thank You, gvarner, and that mirrors my wife's sentiment also...Think #3 is what we'll have printed, don't think you could go wrong with either of them!!

Spent last week roaming around southeast Utah. Went to Dead Horse Point...

Number one really shows "first light" and sets up that 'new day' feeling. The others are more just photos of the canyon, albeit, excellent photos.

Wasabi

That parallels my thinking to, Wasabi...but the wife disagrees. So, think we will print #1 (my pick) & #3 (wife's pick)for the album.

All excellent, but I prefer #3.

Thanks Jeff...in the end, think we will just go ahead and print 1&3.

Sorry the horse died, but you got some beautiful shots.

Many thanks, Bill. Although I've read the story behind the name many times, don't think any horses actually perished as published...just makes a good tale!!

I like #1 with the river showing more than in #2 and #3. A suggestion would be to lighten up the foreground shadows just a bit.

Very nice set. I was in southern Utah in late March last year and found it an amazing area to photograph.

Many thanks for looking and taking the time to suggest that change...will give it a try before printing. Also, couldn't agree more with your take on
southern Utah...sights that always take away my breath!!

#3, the left side adds depth, the reflection on the water on left adds nice interest.

Many thanks for your thoughts on these scenes, willy...appreciate you stopping by and commenting!!
