Boeing Train - Sons first trip as Conductor

My son caught this Boeing Train from Trinidad, Co to Denver. For those who are interested the BNSF Subdivisions that he ran on were Spanish Peaks, Minnequa, and Pikes Peak subs. This train being a Boeing train also included 2 BNSF Track geometry Test Cars behind the engines. The next car back that looks like a wheel is a sensor to detect if those planes shift any. As I said this was his first real trip since getting out of class, and here was daddy getting some pictures to record this historic trip in his life. I took these pictures at Southern Jct. and Pueblo Jct .. The train is headed to Washington State.

I did not know Boeing had trains and that is fascinating! Thank you for the explanation and the pics.

The cars behind the planes contain the wings. Built in Wichita, Ks, assembled in ( I think ) Spokane, Washington.

Good job!
If that were my son, my chest would be so puffed out it would interfere with the proper operation of the camera.

I did 40 years, my oldest son has been working for about 6 years - he doesn't like for me to show up with my camera , him and I were able to work a couple trips together down to Amarillo, Tx Have that picture too.. But you have to get the historic photo that will live through the ages. I have my grandfather and great uncles last trip pictures. My youngest son does not understand how special that train was that he caught.. Someday he will.
