Its ignorant to pigeon-hole people into categories. Most people are more complex than that.

I think the Russia probe is hypocritical and a waste of time. Many other countries attempt to interfere in elections...we do it best of all especially in Central and South America.

I agree with somethings Trump does and not other things. I think it would be great to have friendly relations with our "Enemy Countries". Imagine the money we could save on the military. It could be used to improve the lives of common Americans.

Its hypocritical to focus on "Brown" immigrants when nearly all of us, save Indians, are immigrants at one point in time.

I'm not against corporations or the rich. We need them, but I think they don't pay their fair share due to tax loop holes and biased laws. Laws are skewed toward the top end of society and the only trickle down occurs at the urinals.

I could go on but the bottom line is: I object to Mr. Trump as president because he is narcissist, unstable, liar, bigot, fool, misogynist, racist, ignorant, and a appalling role model for our young. I'm a real patriot, not just a flag waver, and I believe a president should be better than the rest of us. Other nations are laughing at us and I am embarrassed by it all.

I can appreciate why so many feel politically disenfranchised and are desperately looking for anything other than what our government and politicians provide. I think most of the people that support this president do so out of ignorance and desperation and that's excusable. On the other hand there are those that know better and support him for their own ulterior motives, and that's criminal.

And then there are the crazies...

I not you quote Woody Guthrie. When I taught 9th grade after I retired, I noted and sympathized for the students and the pledge of allegiance. It meant nothing to them and with good reason. I would have favored Guthrie's song, This Land is My Land this land is Your Land ...

The socialists anthem... still wrong today.
More crow for you comrade.

Too bad your silly lie of a response had nothing to do with the OP.

Seventy-two percent of steadfast conservatives said they often feel proud to be an American; only 40 percent of solid liberals said they do."

"Gallup headlined its write-up of a 2010 survey “One in Three Americans ‘Extremely Patriotic’: Republicans, conservatives, and seniors most likely to say so.” According to Gallup, 52 percent of Republicans and 48 percent of conservatives called themselves extremely patriotic; only 20 percent of Democrats and 19 percent of liberals did."

Why is it necessary to believe we are superior to other countries as if, person against person, we are bigger, smarter, richer, better looking ad nauseum? Why must “conservatives” feel they are the center of the universe instead of simply taking comfort in being a part of it? Why has “treating others as we would have ourselves be treated” been forgotten by trump and his supporters?

I’m proud of many things America accomplishes and stands for... but not all of it. I consider trump and those who support him to be what the worst our nation can be. What is scary is that 40% of voters endorse his damaging “leadership” towards selfishness, greed, lies and immoral behavior.

You say:
“Its ignorant to pigeon-hole people into categories. Most people are more complex than that.”

Then you say:

Indeed but out of context. Look carefully at what I was responding to. What category do you fit?

Dear Fake Hero Guy, please read the definition below:

Fascism is a form of radical, right-wing, authoritarian ultranationalism, characterized by dictatorial power, forcible suppression of opposition, and strong regimentation of society and of the economy, which came to prominence in early 20th-century Europe. The first fascist movements emerged in Italy during World War I before it spread to other European countries. Opposed to liberalism, Marxism, and anarchism, fascism is placed on the far-right within the traditional left–right spectrum.

There comes a time in every teacher's life when they realize that the student that they are trying to teach is not capable of understanding the lesson.
I have reached that point with you as you are totally unteachable and to continue to try to educate you will only be an exercise in futility.
Go forth and believe what you want. Others will think less of you but in my case, thinking less of you is just not possible.

Here's a fact about who serves in the armed forces:
If you ever served in the armed forces, you would have served with, African Americans, Latinos, White People, Asian People, Gay People, Transgendered People, Republicans, and Democrats, Muslims, Christians, Atheists, Agnostics, Wiccans, Buddhists, Hindus, and approximately 5000 other religions.
However, the one thing you can be certain of is that you would have never served with anyone from the Trump family.

I know that and that's why I excuse your beliefs about fascism.
You're just not capable of understanding.
It's okay, Fake Hero Guy. Don't feel bad. You were probably born that way.
