I agree. He also speaks with a strong accent which combined with his speed makes it difficult to follow him. He has numerous free videos on YouTube which will give you some idea if he is right for you.

Good evening,
I have been doing manual photography for about a year. I have attended a few adult junior college classes on using manual. One of the adult students mentioned Serge Ramelli courses as a way to use my learning on a higher level. I researched the reviews about his system and they were 50/50 on using it. I trust the expertise here for solid advice. Thank you for your time.

Serge Ramelli has great post processing information. I have used several of his videos. You can download youtube videos to your PC. In the URL bar type "SS" in after the www. and before "youtube. The site it goes to has a free area below the paid version. click on "download video in browser".

I have saved several youtube videos this way. Then you can always go back and review them at your own speed.

The only problem with Ramelli is his high pressure sales approach to.... everything. You will never be able to avoid his emails and pitches once he has your info. He is to photographers what the AARP is to 49 year olds. He will find you and get you to join.

FWIW Ramelli is a very fast talker. He is a member of the Kelby One Group.

I have a few of his courses. Agree with comment below that his videos move fast and it is difficult to follow along. Also, the far majority of his courses are about post processing in LR and PS and also on how to use the presets he sells. A few of the better videos start with him out shooting and he describes why he shoots a certain way for his PP style.

Obviously a lot of the responders have no clue about what you are asking or who Serge Ramalli is. But they repsond anyways SMH. Serge has plenty of free you tube videos which you can view to see if his content is what you are looking for. His videos and courses are mostly about post processing. Whether they are good or bad depend on what you personally can get out of them and does he speak to your personal learning style.
Personally I am a KelbyOne member and find it an exceptional value at $140 a year. There is content ranging from novice to pro. Tons of new content added weekly from some of the top names in photography. and there is the ability to interact. Their forum is monitored by their instructors. After viewing one of Scott’s classes I had questions about my results. Went to the forum asked. Scott jumped in and helped me with my question. There is a ton of content on post processing. All forms of photography and just about everything photography. It’s not for everyone but it is an option.

For post processing I highly recommend Blake Rudis and his f64 site. For more general information Scott Kelby and Linda.com are excellent.

I have purchased a couple of his courses and they were very helpful. If you watch his free videos, you can just pause the video and replay any section that is moving too fast.

Many prior comments. My take after watching 2 or 3 of his YouTube videos:
1. He moves too fast. Is he daring you to try and follow him.
2. Explanation of the "why" he does certain things is sketchy.
3. He is always trying to sell me a "preset" or "action". If he wants to educate then he needs to do that and not lead up to a sales pitch.
Just my thoughts.

I have some of his tutorials and yes he does tend to talk a bit fast. That being said he offers a lot of good information and presets (if your into presets)
I found a guy by the name of Ben Willmore on Creative Live has some really good Photoshop courses. He is an excellent instructor. Worth looking into and checking out other Creative Live videos.

As stated Serge Ramelli is fast-paced but very good. Julianne Kost is very thorough. Serge tends to empathize the artistic side of photography whereas Julianne tends to be more clinical.
