1) Minolta 50mm 1.7
2) Sigma 35-70mm w/macro 2.8
3) Vivitar 75-205mm 3.5

with assorted filters. Anyone interested? Make some offers.

The Minolta X-700 is a 35 mm single-lens reflex camera introduced by Minolta in 1981. It was the top model of their final manual-focus SLR series before the introduction of the auto-focus Minolta Maxxum 7000.

So yes, but they are not AF lenses. an adapter to fool the camera into thinking there is a lens attached may be necessary. I have one of those adapters for using my M-42 screw lenses.

Fifty Fifty asked: "why would i want to fool my camera? whats the advantage?"

For example I have several M-42 old lenses and Macro unit, I have an adapter that allows me to put them on my Alpha. I would be using Manual focus any way. So the adapter ($14) tells the camera electrically (simple short across two contacts) there is a lens attached. There are other adapters for using other lenses on other cameras.

Specific example: If I found a 500 mm mirror tel lens with M-42 (the old screw mount of the 40s 50s) I could use it with my Alpha and would have a 750 lens for shoot the moon.

RE: the 700 lenses, they may have the old Minolta mount and that is a different diameter than the 7000i "modern AF" lens that fit the Alpha.

I have the 50mm 1.7 Minolta on my Sony a300 and it's my favorite and fastest lens. It produces really nice photographs and I also use it with extension tubes for macro. Most use it as a portrait lens but I have used it for landscapes as well. If its auto focus should not need adapter at least mine doesn't. Read reviews on it for more information.

I don't know either. They're in great shape. How's $100 for all three including all filters?

I'd jump on that if he is serious. You can't go wrong there. They will work on your asked camera with the adapter. I won't say how much I paid for all 3 of those lenses a couple months ago. But now, I wish I'd have waited.

Hi, just jumping in here with a question to anyone. I too have many Minolta lens that fit the SRT 202, x700, etc. I'm wondering if there is an adapter that will fit my Minolta lens to my new Canon T3i? Thanks, Cheryl
