Nice job on the Scaup. It's a shame the wing tips got cut off in the first two.
Congrats on the accurate ID. Greater and Lesser Scaup can be a pain to differentiate. In this case the third photo, where it shows the bright white feathers on the wing are restricted to the secondaries, is diagnostic.

Very nice images ..... always be careful on wingtips ... unless the image is so full frame that it clips the wings just by it's size

Thank you. I try to focus on the eyes, hand held so I miss the total setup, nature is only an instant of there short live, out of the camera without Arty Morris wing tip repair. Time for the pod.
