A few nights ago I PM'd Julie. I thought then, and still think she's not a bad person, just maybe a bit high-strung and overly sensitive. She asked me to post it in the forum. This was my message and a couple of her replies:
Original PM: "Julie...please forgive me if this PM is out of line, but I just want to ask that you may not let a conflict with one or two or three people here destroy you on this site, or even worse cause you to leave. You are a GOOD photographer, and I, and I'm sure lots of others, could learn a lot from you. I think you realize that, but you must also realize that no one else's opinion of your work really matters. You're posts are much better than anything I've been able to do.
If I have offended you then I am truly sorry. I would just like to see the upbeat fine photographic work you showed you're capable of a short while ago. If you can develop a "teflon coating" and let all the crap just slide off, you have a friend here. "
Her reply: "awww yes I dont have clue what im doing I have been hit hard yes..but by gosh I just a dam chick with a cam that loves the world and takes pics ..i sry to offend you..but I felt it ness to expose the jerks that treat us no nothings..like like .like..well nothing..pls be friend me!!! I would be most honored!!! im just a tad mouthy..but pls tell me to shut up!!! )"
I offered to help her with her photos if I can, though I'm not that good, and to ask again to just let the garbage die.
Julie: "ohh thank you!!! I shall I have been getting personal messages..from a few..I guess cuz i have hit a few nerves I honestly just want to learn and need real truth .Thanks for your post and yr time!!"

I hope I'm not opening another can of worms. I'm posting this with Julie's permission and request. I do not wish to be a part of a forum fight. I'm doing this because she asked, and I do believe it helps to try to understand each other.

oh... in case Julie reads this... I am done with her. I haven't replied to a single message she has posted, yet she still feels the need to post about this issue. She needs to move on.

I watched QUIETLY while Julie railed and insulted against many members last week. It lasted hours after anyone cared or returned posts. All because someone asked her to not monopolize the Picture thread. ITS A 2 WAY STREET...if she wants to be part of the forum, she needs to act like 99% of the folks here...NOT like the intolerable 1%.
I am here to pursue my hobby....she says she is too....So, whats her first post when she return....How SAD WE all are....yeah there's a peacemaker for ya....and as I stated in her thread tonite....its been nice this week without any nastiness from anyone. Until she finds a way to be productive I will boycott her threads here...its easy to do.

I don't know how to use this PM thing, I guess. Sorry, I didn't mean for it to look like anything clandestine, but I also didn't want to try to reconstruct anything I said from memory.

I have decided not post the PM Julie sent to Me, it will serve no purpose but to show that I can lower myself to her level. I am more than postitive she will return to grace us with her presence and once again we will get to see her wonderful rants.
