Introduce Yourself
New to the Party

I've never really been good at the whole 'introduce yourself' thing... always felt awkward when it was my turn in a class or at an orientation... what to say? how not to sound like you don't have a clue... or was it too late? oh, well.

A bit of basics, I'm from NY but living in Miami, FL and have been in love with photography for as long as I can remember. Got my first camera when I was 17 and have spent countless hours trying to make good use of them since, sometimes successfully and sometimes not so much...

While on here I hope to be able to help at least as much as I'm helped along the way.

I've included a few pics to give a sample of some of my work. All feedback is greatly welcome. Please... be gentle...

Thanks Bob, that's a shot of the elevated #2 Train in the Bronx, from underneath of course, close to where I grew up. I was fortunate to not have a lot of traffic on that side of the street light as I was crossing.

Welcome to the UHH forum and howdy from Houston!
It has been said, "If I photograph you in color, I'm photographing your clothes. If I photograph you in black and white, I'm photographing your soul."
Nice work in B&W.

[quote=iCatchingImages]Your introduction was better than most. Welcome to the HOG. I like your art. The B & W picture #1 is my favorite. If you post and check "store original". You get a better download and the camera meta data is available to help analyze improvements. David in Florida.

After you post you can go back and add titles to each picture which makes it easier.
