I guess the camera matters if you want to blow them up... nice shots..

its the lens that matters more than the camera body. ultimately though its the photographer that matters. the sunset is excellant and the close up of the face shows determination. what i cant believe is how good those shots are coming from a camera phone.

Beauuutiful! My husband has an iphone4 that he's used to take some awesome sunsets. But your close ups are really really good. I think what matters is what you see and using whatever tool you have to capture it.

Depends on your application. If all you need is to post to the web, facebook, etc., phone camera is fine. However, if you want to blow it up to hang on the wall, the photo from phone camera may or (may not) have enough pixels for printing depending on the size.

I had a Sony DSC H-1 5.0 megapixel that I used for years and I thought it took stunning photos. I was really, really happy with it and could never find a point and shoot that came close to what I got from the Sony. Then I got my Olympus Evolt E420 and I fell in love all over again. I think like most here, it is what you are going to use the photos for. Personally, I would never go back now that I have the flexibility of the interchangeable lens. I also have an Olympus PEN E PL1 that I adore.

Nice! When I don't have my camera with me at time, I DO forget that I carry an IPhone with me. Yes...some missed opportunities because I forgot I have a camera phone.

I like your shots and it is always the user and subject that matter. A 3.2 mpixel image will enlarge to a respectable 11x14, or larger, with the latest generation of printers. I have an 8 mpixel EVO 4G phone with a good lens that will get me about all the enlargement I need. Still, I'm reminded that a grainy 8x10 picture of an exceptional event such as a loaded 747 falling out of the sky is somehow a little more important than a 21 mpixel HDR shot from an EOS 5D MkII of a butterfly sitting on a flower.

90% photographer - 10% camera; which seems to infuriate some folks with lots of high priced gear and no talent, wonder why? ;-) If you are happy, and you are not trying to sell photos to feed the family (photography is a hobby not a profession) then that is all that matters. If you are 'Eating From Your Camera', ya gotta go with what sells...
