To me it looks like you should have more in the foreground like the picture was cut off, get the entire chicken pen in ? My son did a lot of infereds and they had none of this " color" It is cool . I like it.

The IR output can change drastically, depending on the white balance set in your camera. All are different, but none as good as a normal white balance setting, and a clean IR photo.

I have a friend who shoots a lot of infrared. He took one of his old cameras and had it modified to shoot nothing but infrared. Is that what you have done? He works pretty hard at finding ops that will best show the various affects of infrared. Green usually shows up silver except cacti because they are full of water. I assume that some of the trees have green leaves, so I was curious about the results of your efforts.

New to this...my camera is not modified..it's a normal Sony NEX5...yes the trees are green but only one in my yard comes out silver...

It very nice but can someone tell me why the colors don't match up with the colors on film infrared?

If you look real close to the clouds, there seems to be a face with his bottom lip stuck way out....just above the trees....I personally do not like the infa red. natural colors in pictures are best for me.

I haven't used an Infared Filter before, the picture is very pretty, I like the Golden Colors of the trees.
