I haven't seen yet any discussion on pro photo labs yet.
I do weddings and social events and I need some leads in this area
Thanks for the help, Santel

Have hear good things about Mpix, I do my own printing so I don't have personal experience, but they get great reviews.

I to print my own up to a certain size but for the larger ones I have used Mpix and they are very good. My brother uses Mpix all the time.
I now use Walmart for larger ones but you have to be careful. I go to ones that has the printer for poster size prints right in the store that is being run by someone who is heavily into photography. She takes more time then the average employee who just pushes a button. If I want something to have a certain look, I will print one at home and bring it and she matches it

I do weddings too. 14 so far this year and 3 more before the year's end I have not had any complaints on my prints from any of the jobs. For the past five years I have used Sams Club for all my prints and have the same lady that works there do them the only time I had a problem was once during a Christmas rush at the store the prints didn't seem to be as rich as usual they reprinted them for me and they were fine I am not sure if they have a quick print mode they might had been using during the rush but other than that they have been great. I have tried mpix shutterfly and ritz but didn't like them. I do have 4 printers but they mainly sit idle unles I just want to do one or two prints. Ok I am going to get all kinds of reply about this but I am just being honest.

It does all depend on the printer they use and who is doing it. When I lived in the state of Washington for a while I had them done at Costco by one particular person and they were great

Your are going to get many suggestions on this one! Everyone has a favorite lab. In my opinion, a pro lab has many advantages over labs designed and operated for everyone. My favorite lab is White House labs in Minn.

I use Nation photo labs and they are really good, do all sizes and all different types, can choose the paper you want, can choose touch up if you want and have things so you can do sports stuff like magazine covers and so much more than I can tell you, but I have used them and the pictures are awesome and the cost I think is really good.

another thought on sending your phpotos off is if you have a time frame they might not get to you on time it kinda reminds me of sending your gold off for cash. I want to use someone local and support my local people and have it in hand just incase there is a problem just my 2 cents. Unless you are out in the country there should be a good local printer. Like I said before Sams club does a great job for me Wal=mart does not in my case before that I used a photographic printer and they took it on there self to make adjustment that I didn't want again I will get off my soap box and good luck.
