Birds in Flight in New England

Just starting with bird photos. I'm retired and with limited ability so my photos are mostly done in a sitting position.I have a Nikon D300 w/ 18/200mm but most photos were taken with one of my Sony 717 or707 cameras.

Both nice .... but the cardinal is special. Catching the little guys (and gals) in flight is never easy!

I like how you cropped the gull to keep the reflection on the water. Good job of getting the Cardinal as bhowdy says, the little guys are hard to get in flight!
