sorry about the delay in returning greetings as i no longer have the iinternet at home. as for the tanker truck story i am glad it turned out false. However there is plenty of factual history of islam attacks on christians, jews, hindus, buudists, sikhs and other faiths. In sudan christians are being tortued, raped and sold into slavery. In Egypt, the coptic church is under constant persecution by the muslim brotherhood. In the peoples repulic of china all religons are persecuted by the communists. Yes in the past so called christians comited atrocities on order from the Catholic church. However it also was evangelical christians in England and America that lead the fight against slavery. Christians world wide have fought for improving the conditions of people. laws against child labor, sweatshops, slum conditions etc were passed due to the hard effort put in by christians.
2 sad facts. more christians are being martyard today then during the roman empire. also there are more people in slavery today then when Lincon was president. We have along way to go to make things better.

This group is for Christian photographers to share fellowship, photos that glorify God. Anything from church photos, baptisms, photos of the cross, anything including landscapes that inspire you to think of God. Those who are photographers for their church are especially welcome. Non believers can post photos of churches, religious statues etc. However NO SNARKY COMMENTS. this is not the place to debate the existence of God. Testimonies of what God has done for you or brought you from are always welcome.
A little about my self. I spent my first forty years of my life as an outspoken atheist. my folks were ethnically Jewish, but atheist in their beliefs. God finally got threw to me when I was a cop. I moved to vero beach, got invited to a revival at the 1st United Pentecostal Church of Vero Beach. I walked in the church and wham the prescience of the Lord was overwhelming, the reality of how bad a sinner I truly was overwhelmed me, I was bawling like a baby, my body wrenching with sobs. I became a born again Christian at that point. about two months later I was baptized by immersion into the lovely name of Jesus for remission of sin It took Me a long time after that to receive the Holy Ghost as evidenced by speaking in tongues. I serve the Lord and my church as head door greeter and as my church's photographer. God bless all that join this group. I would like to thank the admin of the hog for allowing this group.

I just found this board, Sinatraman. What a welcome surprise!!! I will definitely be one of your regulars. No long history of atheism, just a rather silent belief in the almighty that has recently been reawakened and intensified.

It was very good to read your testimony here.
I would like to join this group as I am a Christian too. I have been saved since I was 13. Attend First Assembly of God church. I do the decorating of the church fellowships and take photos of the babies feet that are in our nursery. I love to take landscape photos and flowers, and just about anything. Went on a mission trip with my church in 2014 to El Salvador.
I would love to join this forum. I am a christian and attend First Assemby of God church. I have been saved since I was 13. I do decorating at my church for fellowships and take photos of the babies feet to hand in the nursery. I also teach the 3 to 5 year olds and work in the nursery when needed. I went on a missions trip in 2014 to El Salvador with my church. Love taking landscape and flower photos and just about anything else.

Beautiful shots cameracrazy and welcome. UHH is a great place to learn, improve and just enjoy the friendly people here.
Glad I don't have to get my fish that way but love the snow. Great picture.

I'm so glad that I found this discussion group! I've been a member of UHH for a couple of years now, but just saw the notice yesterday of 'other groups'. Just last month our local photo club's challenge was Symmetry. I used the attached photo as one of my entries. (I was able to 'work in' these verbal words: "The Symmetry of the Father, Son and Holy Spirit".
Is there a Writer in this group? I've been trying to find a person locally that can either shorten by 1/2 a narrative that I've recorded that tells the story of "Knowing God's Plan" (my words). Or maybe there is someone here that has a completely different narrative that I can use to make a video that will show non-believers the importance of knowing "God's Plan."
Because I'm asking for video help (from a photo group), I believe that your responses should be sent to me by private e-mail. To listen to what I'm talking about go to my web site
www.assoc.com. Click on "Readings" and then click on "Don't Leave It On The Desk". I'm certain it will have as great of an impact on you and it did on me. I would like a shorter narrative because a large majority of people just don't seem to watch videos longer than 5 minutes.
I'm looking forward to learning more and more from this great group.

You are very welcome. It is amazing that in less then one hour after I started the forum, and with one post announcing it the unbeilvers just had to post obnoxious comments and stir up a fuss. That tells me ol satan wants to stop this forum before it gets effective.
Hi sinatraman,
I have just joined the 'hedgehog'. scanning the sections I found this one - and have given replies to some messages. I am surprised that there is so little activity.
re: "unbelievers who post obnoxious comments" - the best way to help these people is to thank them for looking in, and that you will be praying for them. IMHO all too often Christians feel that they must tell people that they are sinners and need to come to Jesus. That is the job of Holy Spirit not Christians. Scripture tells Christians to be ready to speak to them WHEN THEY ASK.
Jesus told his disciples how others would know who to ask - read John 13:34-35.
This, of course, is person to person. Preaching to a crowd, in church or elsewhere, is a different topic.
