This is at Quarry Lake's, in Fremont, CA. It is these 3 pelican's, I thought that it was pretty cool, all of them in a line.
Canon Rebel 550D T2i, f/22, 1/50, ISO-200, F/L-135mm, w/b-manual, shot in RAW, manual mode
I like it and they got somewhere to go too.

Funny, but all pelicans seem to look alike. This one was taken in St. Petersburg, Fl. I straightened the horizon and sharpened a bit.
Pelican Pete
Great shots on all of these and yes they do tend to all look the same!
This is just a snapshot, but "Pete" works the Sunshine Parkway in Tampa, FL for fish scraps - you have to watch him when bait-casting - sometimes they chase a cast !
Very beautiful its like they were posing for you nice find

Hi Jake, this is pretty cool, I have only seen white pelican's. I love to go over early in the morning, when they are feeding, there are so-o-o many of them. I watch for a long time, and then I start shooting many, many picture's. I love to watch them take off, and get into a V formation. That is really cool.
